Brisbane Airport, is the primary international airport serving Brisbane, Australia and the surrounding region. Located just 13 km from the city centre, it is one of Australia’s busiest airports with millions of passengers travelling through each year. The airport offers a wide range of services and facilities for travellers, including two terminals for domestic and international flights, car rental companies, duty-free shopping, restaurants and cafes.

Getting to Brisbane Airport  

Brisbane Airport has several options to get to and from the airport:

  • AirTrain: The airport is serviced by the special AirTrain linking the airport to the city centre via the rail network and could be a convenient option.
  • Taxis and ride-sharing services: Taxis and ride-sharing services such as Uber are readily available at the airport, and can take you to any location in the city.
  • Airport Shuttles: There are several companies operating airport shuttles, which can take you to and from your hotel or other location.
  • Buses: The airport is serviced by buses to the city centre and other destinations.
  • Car rental: There are several car rental companies located at the airport, if you prefer to drive.

Brisbane Airport Parking

For parking options; Brisbane Airport offers several options for both short-term and long-term parking such as the Terminal Car Parks and AIRPARK.

Terminal Car Parks are located next to the terminals, with hourly and daily rates available.

The AIRPARK is close by and serviced by a regular complimentary shuttle bus service to the terminals. It is the cheapest parking option.

The Skygate Centre (DFO) is a few kilometres away and is serviced by a loop bus service that goes to the International and then Domestic airports. If you are dropping off or picking up passengers, this might be a convenient place and you can get some quality shopping in whilst you wait.
